Since he started a life as an artist in 1983, Wongil Jeon has been continuing to work inside nature to untangle nature's order by painting and drawing method on the basis of formative imagination within himself and body's sense and natural art to work along nature.
Since after studying fine arts at Chelsea College of Art and Design of University of the Arts London in 1999, he has been pursuing a frequent effect between indoor and outdoor artwork. Since the first private exhibition held in Seoul Sonahmoo Gallery in 1991, he has been holding approximately 10 exhibitions at places in Seoul and England, has been expressing various connection with nature in various methods and currently is expressing the reminiscence of timely and conceptual touch with nature that he meets in his studio at secluded garden in Ansung through painting and photo.
While studying in London, he was designated as a participating artist of  ‘2000 International Young Art’ supervised by Artlink and Sotherby's and has been holding exhibitions Vienna, Chicago, Tel Aviv, etc and participated in ‘World Cup Memorial Installation Art’ in Suwon World Cup Stadium in 2002, 'International Open air Expressions' in Tokyo in 2004, exhibition ‘Gyeonggi, National Highway No.1’ which was planned by Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art in 2007, exhibition 'Upon Nature' at Mamu Gallery in Budapest, Hungary in 2008, held under the title "Negative Images" at Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art in 2008 and was invited to which was planned by Gyeonggi Arts Center in 2010.
 His artworks are owned by places such as National Museum of Contemporary Art(artbank), Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art, LIG Ingenium in Suwon. etc. Wongil Jeon has been teaching at the college of art as not only an artist but also as an exhibit planner as well as an art theologist and currently, he is acting as a representative of an alternative art space Sonahmoo as well as a director of  YATOO International Project.
