Winter’s Tale 1-5
Bad Saarow, 2011
Germany
I take these photos because they show phenomens of nature which look like art to me. It touches me and I am inspired by the beauty and poetry of their ephemeral existance. I consider the images as a seperate part of my work which sometimes has influence on my sculptures and installations.

In my sculptures the yellow colour playes an important role. I am fascinated by this colour and it’s energy, which is a symbol for light, sun and south. I transform it into a three-dimensional shape, into various sculptures and nstalltions. Many of my works are sitespecific and I very often use simple material like papermaché or natural material like real lemons or a dead tree.
