Arantxa Echarte (1979, San Sebastián - Spain).
I live and work in London. 
I am a Research Associate at Central Saint Martins University (University of the Arts of London) in London, UK. I also lecture at The University of the West of England, Bristol, UK.
In 2010 I finished my PhD at UWE, UK. In 2004 I graduated with and MA in Art and Design at Gray School of Art, UK. In 2002 I graduated with a First Honours Fine Art Degree at the University of the Basque Country, Spain.
I have exhibited widely internationally and I have participated in international artists residencies in Lazarea (Romania, 2008), Partapur (India, 2010) and Wongol (Korea, 2011). I also curated, coordinated and participated in the international projects Crossroads (1 and 2) at Mamu gallery in Budapest (Hungary) and UWE gallery in Bristol (UK) in 2008; En:countering in Eger (Hungary) and Breda (Holland) in 2008 and 2009 respectively; and ViceVersa in Groningen (Holland) and Bristol (UK) in 2009.
