너를 보내며

나는 카스피해 해안에서 발견한 익명의 오브제

들을 손위에 올려놓았다.

이것들은 사람들이 흔히 쓰레기라고 부르는 것

들이다. 나는 이들의 무명성에 흥미를 느낀다.

분명 사람들이 사용하던 어떤 물건이었겠지만

지금은 그저 이름 없는 조각들이다.

나의 손과 그들이 만난다. 마치 만남과 헤어짐의

악수를 하듯이...

이제 그들은 자연으로 되돌아간다.

이들과 나는 한 컷의 기념사진을 찍는다.

Letting You Go

I laid unnamed objects found on the Caspian Beach on my palm

These are things people often call 'garbage'.

I find interest in the anonymity of them.

These are things that surely once people used,

but now just pieces without names.

My hand and they meet. Like a handshake of meeting and farewell.

They now return to nature.

I take a photograph as a souvenir
